Back into the swing of things..

So its been quite a while since I updated, but there has been a number of different reasons. Actually forget that, there hasn’t, there is just one reason. work.

Well, my very few readers, that is soon going to change for I have decided to leave the wonderful world of work and fulfil something I have been pipe dreaming about for several years. It involves opening up your mind, exploring your sense and getting lost within your inner being…scrap that. I’m off to America for 3 months.

Why? Quite simple really, because I want too and while I have done reasonably well at a professional career level, it’s now or never (quite literally). How is this Airsoft related do I hear your ask? Let me explain…

Airsoft in the States is something quite different to what we have in the glorious United Kingdom. While Milsim can be argued as being fairly popular on our shores, it appears to be very far between across the pond. Plenty of ‘speedball’ teams are popping up and it’s starting to get very real, from a competitive point of view at least.

I’ll be going from east to west while travelling across America with a very large plan to hit up Airsoft in California. I mean who wouldn’t want to play under blue skies, no wind, oh and did I mention no wind?? Although some might argue there is quite a knack for whipping a BB round a box with a helping hand from mother nature.

Thats about it for now, and while most of my posts will be travelling orientated, there will be a healthy does of Airsoft to go with it.

My Twitter feed and Facebook page will have a healthy injection of activity, so watch this space.
