Old into new…

Well almost. A friend of mine is always on a mission to tinker with new (and old in this case) things, and this time it was no exception.

Just 2 days before he was telling me, he had never popped open a PTW magazine, and I quite quickly turned round and said he couldn’t test drive that urge with one of mine. As if it were destiny, at our most recent OP, one just appeared out of the ground. We naturally took it in and asked around at the end as to whether anyone had lost one. No response and to be fair, it did look at it had been in the ground for some time.

After a trip to work and a bit of tlc, the results were quite remarkable. There is life after death. If you’re a PTW mag that is.

I’ll be risking for a biscuit on my next outing to ensure it works properly.
